**~Mz. Desi~**:  in my family, every one buys different gifts and wraps them inside of boxes so that the true size and shape is not revealed. These gits can be funny or household necessities. the price limit is usually set. Each person is assigned a number randomly. Number one gets to choose a gift. Number 2 has the option of taking number 1's gift or choosing from the abundance. In this pattern, number 12, hypothetically can choose from the abundance or any of those who picked before him. If a person;s gift has ben taken ,they must choose from the abundance, they cannot take anyone elses gift. that is how the game is generally played. It can be midified for different age groups and etc....
