Ladies...what do you think of this gift exchange idea?
There will be 10 women getting together at my house. I am thinking of having a "Simple Pleasure" gift exchange. Each person will bring a wrapped gift that they consider a simple pleasure (coffee, candle, chocolate). How should we distribute the gifts? I was thinking maybe like the white elephant game but I do not want anyone to have hurt feelings. Do you have any ideas about the exchange? Do you like the simple pleasure theme? What should the we limit the cost to? $10? Thanks for your input!

star:  IF your all working 10 bucks is good. PICK numbers, put numbers on the gifts, thats the fair way.

lalablah_blah:  I would make it around 15. And maybe draw names out of a hat or something. Or stick all the gifts in a sack and have them each pic out one.

Kathy A:  sounds good, but to keep it even...make it ONE theme...like all chocolate or coffee cups. (some women are better shoppers than others and may 're gift' if they aren't....) Do you all sew ??? $10 worth of fabric is good... Do you all have children ??? $10 of childrens clothes (not much, but might buy a t-shirt...) etc...

snowflake <3:  I did this with my friends before but as Christmas gifts. I would suggest that you write everyone's name on little pieces of paper and scrunch them up. Then everyone gets their pick of paper. Then you give you "Simple Pleasure" to the person whose name you picked! Hope I helped!
