Nice wreaths and candle holders with the fake leaves and holiday berries surrounding them. of course the tree and stockings. little trinkets you pick up at the store little statues You can decorate the bathroom and kitchen in Christmas towels and have little soaps and stuff. for gifts you have always get little holiday themed baskets to put cookies candy or chocolates in. ( would be a nice touch if they were home made and you added a little recipe card. ) thanksgiving we went to stein-mart and got a whole bunch of turkey themed stuff. a turkey bobble head and a turkey candle. one again a wreath. We like to get table runners in holiday theme. We have a Pumpkin that we use to fill with assorted fall themed potpourri. We have a little husband an wife pilgrim. We have a few tiny painted baby chicks. more holiday themed candles with fall color leaves around them. For Christmas time we actually use Christmas tree trimmings in various decorations like behind some ceramic statues to fill out space. We have a ghost candy jar and a Santa Claus candy jar. be creative and don't limit yourself. im glad you are getting into the holiday spirit. i have a feeling its going to be difficult to Get mine into one this year.

One year I collected different size water bottles and I washed and removed the labels. I made a slit in the water bottle and then lightly stuffed the bottle with shredded metallic x-mas paper and confetti. Then I carefully inserted a gift card and then taped the slit back up with clear tape. You then decorate the cap and tie a small bow around the neck of the bottle. They were so cute and it was a different way to give my gift cards. I had many compliments. Be creative, you can fill the bottles how ever you want. After I had them all done I arranged them on a small table and put x-mas decorations and snow around them. It is a cute display.

christmasdonkeyemail:  Find the "The Year without a Santa Claus" dvd and buy several copies for your family to watch during the real holiday season. Make sure that in the corner in says, "Plus Rudolf's Shiny New Year and Nestor the Long-eared Christmas donkey.
