Children's Christmas party games?

Children's Christmas party games?
I have been put in charge of organising the entertainment for a children's christmas party in december. We have a magician coming for an hour, but it's up to me to sort out the games. I'm not sure the exact ages of the children, but I imagine they will be between 6-10. Any ideas for good, fun games to keep them all happy? I've thought of a few, the classics like pass the parcel and musical statues. Don't want anything crafty or too messy! Thanks x

Dee:  Under/ over pass the balloon - the kids line up in at least two teams, they pass a balloon over their heads and under their legs alternately until the balloon reaches the back - the child at the back runs to the front and they repeat. until the child who started at the front sits down. Pairs - cut some christmas cards in half, before the party place one set of halves around the room - then ask the children to match the other half which you give them. Duck Duck Goose Parachute games runaround - based on tv game

preciouz:  If their is snow where you live maybe you could try FINISH THE SNOWMAN'S FACE by making small snowman bodies and letting the children put faces on them with carrots for the nose, buttons for the eyes, hats and scarfs from the 99 cent store. If not you could play PIN THE RED NOSE ON THE REINDEER or PIN HIS RED HAT ON SANTA or PIN THE SNOW MAN'S FACE...Hope this helped Good luck.
