me:  have a "portrait contest". what you do is make people draw a portrait of each other's face, but what makes it fun and original is that they cannot look at the paper the entire time they are drawing the portrait. set a time of like 10 minutes, give everyone a pencil and paper and sit teams of two accross from each other and have them draw each other without looking at the paper. then put them on the wall and have everyone choose a winner who gets a prize. this is so fun because the drawings come out sooooo funny, you guys will be laughing your a@@s off!

Stephen C:  Can't anyone throw a party without annoying the bold and emabarrassing the shy? How about eating drinking and enjoying one anothers' company? If the boss feels compelled to make an appearance as Santa or Father Christmas to distribute what will probably seem a cheesy bonus of some sort, so be it. If that sounds like a bad idea, try Rugby or Australian Rules Football. Sit back and enjoy the attrition rate.

sweatyshavedpits:  Wow, those are excellent ideas. All merit a pat on the back of the one who mentioned them. May I suggest a game of "rocks." In this game, all members of the team go outside and split into either two or three teams (three teams are more fun because alliances may develop). Each team gathers as many rocks as possible, with the object being immobilizing the opponents team members. It is a riot, and everyone will talk about it for years to come.
