Need ideas for company Christmas party "games"?
Need ideas for company Christmas party "games"?
We need to keep everyone involved for about 45 minutes. Every year we do the same thing: Trivia. Each table answers the questions together and wins cash prizes depending on their score for each question. This year we have a sports theme: serving sports/tailgating food, dressing up in team jerseys, etc.
Can anyone think of a game that would keep about 250 people involved for about 45 minutes after dinner, before dancing (we've already tried casino night, most didn't like it)?

incogneato: You can do some kind of a memory game, like put a trash can on each table with stuff in it... stapler, box of staples, tape dispenser, paper clips, notepad, phone cord, pen, pencil, blah, blah, blah... Don't say anything about why they're there. Natural curiosity will have people taking a peek, digging around in it, etc. When dinners over give everybody a pen & paper & give them 5 minutes to write down everything they saw in the trashcan. Whoever gets the most gets a prize. You could even put some abnormal stuff in the trashcan... candy bars, picture frames, stuffed animals, cup-o-soup, etc. It won't take 45 minutes, but it'll take a little bit of time.
