space.soot:  you dont put your name on the gift. the gifts are all piled up. on paper there are numbers 1 thru how ever many people are there. having #1 is the best. the person with the highest number unwraps a gift. then the next person unwraps a gift then decides if they want the gift they have or the other persons. If they want the other person's gift, they take it and swap it with the one they unwrapped. Then it continues. #1 unwraps their gift then gets to pick whichever gift they want. It can get messy. Sometimes there's a certain gift that everyone wants.
